Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium-size green tomatoes
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Wash tomatoes and cut into 3/4-inch thick slices.
    Mix flour, salt and pepper.
    Dip tomato slices into flour mixture.
    Heat butter in a 10-inch skillet.
    Add tomato slices, cook over medium heat (turning once) until golden brown.
