Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. Italian-style fine, dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. instant minced onions
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, cut into 24 (1/2-inch) cubes
1 (15 oz.) jar pizza sauce
shredded lettuce
sliced mushrooms
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients; mix well. Cover each cheese cube with about 1 tablespoon meat mixture, carefully sealing all around.
Place meatballs in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Place pizza sauce in a large pot. Cook over medium just until boiling.
Add meatballs. Stir gently and cook until heated through.
If desired, serve on a bed of lettuce and garnish with mushrooms.
Makes 6 servings.
