Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 box vanilla wafers
    4 tsp. melted butter
    4 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    2 lb. sour cream
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix crushed (finely) vanilla wafers and butter.
    Line bottom of large spring pan.
    In mixer combine cream cheese and sugar #8. Continue by adding eggs slowly one at a time.
    Add sour cream and vanilla and continue mixing until mixture is smooth.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    (Do not open oven.)
    Shut oven off and leave in oven 1 more hour.
    (Do not open oven during 2 hour period.)
    Best if chilled overnight.
