Georgia Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. yellow mustard
    1 c. catsup or chili sauce
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 clove garlic, chopped well
Preparation
    Combine oil, onion and garlic in saucepan.
    Cook until the onion turns yellow and transparent, but not brown.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes.
    Use to baste either chicken or pork.
    Makes enough for 2 chickens or one pork loin.
