Korean Braised Short Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. beef short ribs, cut in pieces
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. ground sesame seed
Preparation
    Trim fat from ribs; place in shallow dish.
    Mix remaining ingredients; pour over beef.
    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours, turning occasionally.
    Drain beef, reserving marinade.
    Cook in 4-quart Dutch oven over medium heat until brown; drain.
    Pour marinade over beef.
    Cover and cook in 350\u00b0 oven until tender, about 1 hour.
    Serve with rice.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
