Chicken, Sausage And Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 whole chicken breasts or 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cooked, boned and cut in bite-size chunks
    1 (6 oz.) box Uncle Ben's wild and long grain rice (not instant, seasoning packet reserved)
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    2 1/2 c. chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large skillet or Dutch oven, saute sausage over medium-high heat about 5 to 10 minutes or until cooked through; drain and set aside.
