Ingredients

6 carrots
2 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. parsley (optional)
Preparation

Cut carrots in half crosswise, then lengthwise.
Simmer, covered, in a small amount of salted water 10 minutes or to desired crispness.
Drain.
Melt butter.
Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
Add carrots.
Cook over medium heat approximately 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with parsley.
