Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening (yellow Crisco)
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 bananas
2 1/2 c. flour
2 scant tsp. soda
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Then add eggs and beat well.
Mix flour, soda and salt together.
Then add alternately with buttermilk to sugar mixture.
Add nuts last.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
This makes a large cake.
