Buttery Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1 c. butter
2 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Heat and stir first 3 ingredients until sugar dissolves.
Add butter.
Stir often after 230\u00b0.
Add peanuts at 280\u00b0 and stir constantly to 305\u00b0.
Remove from heat.
Quickly stir in soda, mixing well.
Pour onto 2 buttered cookie sheets.
Stretch thin by lifting and pulling edges with forks.
Loosen from pans as soon as possible.
Break up.
