Baked Onion Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine
6 medium onions, sliced
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1 c. milk
salt and pepper
3/4 lb. grated Swiss cheese
French bread slices
Preparation

Melt 1/2 cup butter in pan.
Add onions and saute until tender.
Transfer to baking dish.
Combine soup, milk, salt and pepper and pour over onions.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Dip bread slices in melted butter and arrange on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
