Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 Tbsp. melted shortening or oil
1 (12 oz.) can drained whole kernel corn
Preparation

Sift flour; measure and resift with the next dry ingredients. Beat the egg; add milk and shortening, then add to flour mixture and beat just until smooth.
Fold in drained corn; let stand 5 to 10 minutes while heating shortening in a frying pan.
Drop small amounts like pancakes in frying pan.
