Sweet And Sour Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. brown and serve sausage links
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/3 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 large green pepper, cut into 1-inch chunks
    1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained
Preparation
    Brown sausage; drain and cut into 1-inch chunks.
    Combine cold water with cornstarch.
    Mix with salt, vinegar and syrup.
    Heat over medium heat until thick.
    Add all other ingredients and heat for 5 minutes before serving.
    Keep warm in chafing dish.
