Happy Day Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
Preparation
    Measure into sifter the first 4 ingredients.
    Measure into a bowl the shortening.
    Measure into cup the milk and vanilla.
    Have 2 unbeaten eggs ready.
    Blend all together.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Makes a good birthday cake.
