Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. finely minced garlic
    2 c. crushed tomatoes
    1 tsp. crumbled oregano
    1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
    salt to taste (if desired)
    freshly ground pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh basil
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the garlic.
    Cook briefly, stirring.
    Add the tomatoes, oregano, rosemary, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes. Stir in the basil and serve hot.
    Yield:
    About 1 1/2 cups.
