Granny'S Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large box raisins
4 c. water
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts
1 large jar mincemeat
5 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
-
Boil raisins and water 2 minutes, then cool.
Add to boiled mixture remaining ingredients.
Cook 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean in a greased and floured tube pan.
