Apple Pie Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Combine and cook until thick; let cool.
This is a topping for Apple Dumplings or you can put it on top of apple pie pieces.
