Black Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. black beans
    1 green pepper, cut up
    approximately 10 c. water
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1 chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    salt to taste
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. red wine
Preparation
    Soak beans and green pepper in approximately 10 cups water. Cook in same water approximately 45 minutes.
    Put olive oil, onion, garlic, 1/2 green pepper and 1 cup mashed beans in a frying pan.
    Add to beans in pot.
    Put in salt, paprika, oregano and bay leaf.
    Cook 1 hour; then add vinegar and red wine.
    Cook 1 more hour.
    Serve with cooked rice.
