Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. peeled apple slices
1/2 c. sliced almonds

Preparation

Cream first 3 ingredients.
Blend in flour. Spread dough onto bottom and sides of 10-inch spring-form pan. Combine softened cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar; mix well.
Add egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and mix.
Pour into pastry-lined pan.
