Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 16 hard-boiled eggs
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. mixed pickling spices
    2 c. cider vinegar
    2/3 c. liquid drained from canned beets
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Peel eggs and place in jar.
    In saucepan, combine sugar, salt, spices, vinegar and beet juice and bring to a boil; simmer for 3 minutes.
    Strain and pour over eggs.
    Put lid on jar and store in refrigerator for 2 days before serving.
    They will keep in refrigerator for several days.
