Fannie Pollack'S Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage (about 3 lb.)
    2 onions, chopped
    4 Tbsp. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt (more if desired)
    juice of 2 lemons
    2 lb. ground steak
    4 unsalted crackers, soaked in 1/2 glass water
    1 large can tomatoes, strained
    pinch of paprika
    1 Tbsp. honey
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 gingersnaps, soaked in 1/2 glass water
Preparation
    Remove core and place cabbage in a large pot.
    Cover with water and simmer until tender, but not soft.
    Remove from pot; when cool peel off leaves.
