Baked Brie In Phyllo - cooking recipe

12 sheets phyllo pastry, handle according to directions on box
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. toasted sesame seeds
1 whole (2 2/2 lb.) round Brie
1 c. apricot preserves
1 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Place first sheet of phyllo on buttered baking tray and paint with butter.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and so on until 6 sheets are used.
Place Brie in center of phyllo.
Spread preserves over top of Brie and sprinkle with almonds. Lay out another sheet of phyllo, paint with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame.
Repeat for a total of six sheets and place on top of Brie.
Gather pastry and decoratively enclose the Brie, pressing together to seal. Paint entire bundle with butter and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven until pastry is brown and flaky, about 35 minutes.
Serves 8 to 12.
