Pecan Fingers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or oleo
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. confectioners sugar to roll the cookies in
2 c. pecans, chopped
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Cream shortening
and
brown
sugar,
add
vanilla
and water, then add
flour, salt and nuts, chill in refrigerator 1 hour. Form into balls the size of fingers and bake on greased cookie sheet in
250\u00b0
oven
about 30 minutes or golden brown. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.\tMakes 3 dozen.
