Linguine With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. linguine, uncooked
    4 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. olive or vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. flour
    4 7.5 oz cans chopped clams, undrained
    1 1/2 c. fresh parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain. In medium saucepan, heat oil and cook garlic until golden. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in clams with liquid, parsley, salt and pepper. Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly until sauce is thickened. Serve over hot linguine. Serves 4 to 6.
