Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 yellow or white cake mix
2 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
2 large cans crushed pineapple, drained well
2 cans cherry pie filling
3 bananas
2 large cartons Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Bake cake as directed.
When cool, break cake into small pieces and put half of it in bottom of punch bowl.
Mix pudding.
When it begins to thicken, pour half of it over cake in bowl.
Layer half of all other ingredients into the bowl.
Repeat layers with cake, pudding, etc.; end up with Cool Whip, topped with nuts.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
