Chile Verde Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 medium onions, fresh or canned
1 large can diced green chile peppers
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt (or to taste)
water
2 to 3 large peeled potatoes
flour tortillas
Preparation

Cut steak into inch size pieces.
Flour and brown lightly in oil.
Add salt.
Add diced onions, cook until soft and clear. Peel tomatoes.
Slice and add to mixture with enough water to cover.
Mash garlic and add chiles and liquid.
Add peeled chopped potatoes.
Simmer until meat is tender and potatoes are done.
Usually it takes about 45 minutes.
Little liquid should remain.
Serve with flour tortillas.
