Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1/2 c. cornstarch
red food coloring
1 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed and sliced
Cool Whip
1 (9-inch) baked pie crust
Preparation

Bake 9-inch pie crust and put aside to cool; combine sugar and cornstarch.
Stir until blended, then add water and food coloring. Cook over medium heat until thick.
When completely cool, pour over strawberries that have been placed in cooled pie crust.
Top with Cool Whip.
Refrigerate several hours before serving.
