Smothered Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    salt and pepper
    6 pork chops
    flour
    6 large slices onion
    6 slices green pepper
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Salt and pepper the pork chops.
    Roll in flour.
    Place in a casserole dish (with cover).
    Place a large slice of onion on each chop; top with a ring of pepper.
    Place 2 tablespoons rice in each pepper ring.
    Add celery, tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce.
    Cover and steam slowly until chops are tender.
    Yield:
    4 to 6 servings.
