Kartoffel Suppe(Potato Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    500 g (18 oz.) potatoes
    1 onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper
    1 bouquet garni (leek, parsley, carrot, marjoram and celery)
Preparation
    Peel, wash and dice the potatoes.
    Clean, wash and chop the pot herbs; chop the onion.
    Cook all until tender in 2 pints salted water and rub through a sieve.
    Make a thickening of butter and flour.
    Stir into the soup and cook for a few minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
