Toffee Bars Or Heath Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Grease bottom of 9-inch square pan and pour chopped nuts over bottom.
    Combine brown sugar and butter and cook to 270\u00b0 (hard ball stage) or 4 to 5 minutes, after coming to a boil.
    Pour over nuts and spread evenly.
    Pour chocolate chips over mixture and cover for 2 to 4 minutes (until melted).
    Spread out evenly and put in refrigerator until cold.
    Break into pieces and keep cool.
