Ginger Crinkles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. dark molasses
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine oil and 1 cup sugar in a bowl.
    Add egg and beat.
    Stir in molasses and vanilla, then dry ingredients. Roll into about 1-inch balls and dip into remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Bake about 10 minutes or until done but not too dark.
    Has butter flavor after stored a few days.
