Prince Of Wales Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 inch) baked pie shell
    2/3 c. packed brown sugar
    2/3 c. butter
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 to 3 Tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    unsweetened whipping cream, whipped
    pecan halves (for garnish)
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, butter and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low-medium heat.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook and stir constantly for 7 minutes until thick, watch carefully, as mixture scorches easily.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts. Pour into baked pie shell.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    Wait 1 minute until chips have melted slightly.
    With a fork, gently swirl the chocolate chips making a pretty pattern.
    Chill until firm. Top with dollops of whipped cream and place pecan half on each dollop.
