Chili Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 qt. chopped tomatoes
1 c. finely chopped peppers
2 c. finely chopped onions
1/4 c. salt
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 qt. vinegar
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together in a large kettle for about 30 minutes.
Stir to keep from sticking.
Put in ovenproof dishes and put in oven at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until thickens. Stir every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and pour into hot sterilized 1/2 pint or pint jars.
Seal in boiling water bath for 20 to 25 minutes.
