Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak (1/2-inch thick)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. diced onion
    1 c. beef bouillon
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 green peppers, cut in 1-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 tomatoes, cut in 8ths, peeled
    3 to 4 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Trim fat and bone from meat.
    Cut into 4 to 6 servings. Grease pan lightly with fat from meat.
    Brown meat; sprinkle with salt both sides.
    Push meat aside.
    Add onions, cook and stir. Add bouillon, soy sauce and garlic, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until meat is tender.
    Add green pepper; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch with water; pour into mixture in skillet, cook, stir constantly, until thickens and boils.
    Boil and stir one minute, add tomatoes, heat thoroughly.
    Serve immediately with hot rice.
