Spareribs And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. spareribs, cut into 3 to 4 ribs pieces
    1 (No. 303) can sauerkraut
Preparation
    Season ribs with salt and pepper.
    Brown over medium heat in heavy skillet.
    Add small amount of water; cover and cook slowly for 1 hour.
    Empty sauerkraut into kettle.
    Top with ribs, 3 tablespoons fat and 1/4 cup water.
    Cook slowly for 1 hour.
