Hearty Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. stewing beef, cut up
2 large potatoes, diced
2 onions, chopped
3 carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, blended
1 (16 oz.) can water
1/2 Tbsp. thyme
1/2 Tbsp. parsley
1 frozen pkg. mixed vegetables
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except frozen vegetables in crock-pot. Cook on low for 10 to 11 hours. Add frozen vegetables and heat through, about 1 more hour.
Yields 8 servings.
