1\\4 C. Butter, soften
1\\4 C. Sugar
1 Egg
2 C. Flour
3 tsp. Baking Powder
3\\4 C. Milk
Preparation

Cream butter. Add sugar and egg. Blend well. Sift together flour, baking powder. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to butter mixture. Preheat oven to 450\u00b0. Line muffin pan with paper baking cups. Spoon in batter. Bake 10 min or until browned slightly. These are delicious with soups or breakfast.
