Chocolate Pie(Yield: One 9-Inch Pie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    3 Tbsp. flour (little more, if needed)
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    4 egg yolks
    1 stick butter
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cocoa, flour and salt in top of double boiler. Add milk, syrup and butter, plus beaten egg yolks.
    Cook over boiling water until thick.
    Let cool and add vanilla.
    Put in pie shell and top with meringue.
