Pickled Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 lb. raw asparagus, tough ends broken off
    3 c. vinegar
    3 c. water
    3 cloves garlic
    1 Tbsp. pickling spice
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil last 5 ingredients for 5 minutes.
    Pack asparagus in wide-mouth quart jars.
    Pour hot liquids over asparagus in jars. Seal and process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
