Mona Newbern'S Strawberry Fig Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 c. mashed figs
5 c. sugar
1 large pkg. strawberry jello
1 pkg. Sure-Jell

Preparation

Mix and cook figs and sugar.
After this starts to boil, cook for 20 minutes.
Add strawberry jello and Sure-Jell.
Let come to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
Put into scalded jars and seal.
