Grammaw'S Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. cream
    1 pt. half and half
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together. Stir in some half and half until dissolved.
    Put remaining half and half, cream and butter on medium heat and let come to almost boil.
    Add sugar mixture and when it starts to thicken, pour into unbaked pie shells. Sprinkle with a little nutmeg and then drizzle 2 teaspoons vanilla on top and bake 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
