Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    6 egg yolks
    6 egg whites
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. flour, sifted with pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon
    1 tsp. butter flavoring
    1/2 tsp. mace (optional)
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar; add egg yolks one at a time, beating after each one.
    Dissolve soda in sour cream and add alternately with flour.
    Begin and end with flour.
    Add flavorings and fold in stiff beaten egg whites.
    Pour in a tube pan which has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
