Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 c. sifted enriched flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream together first 2 ingredients.
    Add next 2 ingredients; mix well.
    Add the flour and mix well, then add the nuts.
    Form into small rolls 1 1/2-inches long.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (300\u00b0) for 20 minutes or until delicately brown. While hot, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes 3 dozen.
