Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. yellow squash
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium carrot, grated (optional for color)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing
    1/4 lb. butter
Preparation
    Slice and parboil squash.
    Drain.
    Mix soup, sour cream, onion, carrot, salt and pepper with squash.
    Mix dressing and melted butter. Place 3/4 of dressing in pan.
    Put squash mixture on top.
    Top with remaining dressing.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
