Quick And Easy Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Karo light syrup
    3 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1/3 c. evaporated milk (light)
    3/4 c. powdered sugar, sifted
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
    In heavy saucepan, stir together corn syrup and milk.
    Add chocolate pieces, stirring constantly.
    Cook, over medium to low heat, until melted.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Add powdered sugar.
    Beat until creamy smooth.
    Stir in nuts, if wanted.
    Turn into prepared pan.
