Baking Powder Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    6 Tbsp. margarine
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Cut in shortening with two knives or pastry blender.
    Mix in just enough milk to make soft dough, not too wet.
    Turn out on lightly floured board.
    Pat out to 1/2 to 3/4-inch thickness.
    Cut with floured cutter.
    Bake on a greased cookie sheet 15 to 20 minutes at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0.
    Serve hot with butter.
    Yield:
    12 to 16 biscuits.
