Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sauerkraut
    3 qt. water
    1 c. sugar (can use half artificial sweetener)
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1/2 c. red onions, sliced
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
Preparation
    Boil sauerkraut in water for 15 minutes; drain and cool.
    Heat sugar in vinegar until dissolved.
    Cool; add Wesson oil.
    Mix all together.
    Store in refrigerator.
