Breakfast Sausage And Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    3 c. hot grits
    2 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    pimiento strips
Preparation
    Cook sausage
    until
    done;
    drain
    and\tput in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking
    dish.
    Combine
    hot
    grits, cheese and butter. Stir until
    cheese melts and is well mixed.
    Combine eggs and milk; stir into grits.
    Pour into casserole; bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Garnish with pimiento strips.
    Makes approximately 15 servings. Can be made the day before and baked the next day.
