Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3 whole eggs, separated
2 c. whole milk
2 heaping Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 Tbsp. vanilla
4 to 5 medium bananas
vanilla wafers
Preparation

Blend sugar and flour in medium bowl.
Separate eggs and set whites aside.
With a fork beat yolks and add to sugar.
Add vanilla.
Add milk in small amounts until all is blended in.
Cook in nonstick skillet on medium heat until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Put a layer of mix in bottom of 2-quart baking dish, add layer of vanilla wafers then layer of bananas.
Repeat until dish is almost full ending with layer of mix.
Add meringue and bake at 425\u00b0 until meringue is brown.
