Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 lb. butter, softened
    4 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    red pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cream together cheese and butter.
    Sift in flour 1 cup at a time.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Press through cookie press into straw shapes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until they begin to brown slightly.
    Remove with spatula onto wax paper and cool.
