Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. diced apples or 3 apples
    1 c. oil
    2 beaten eggs
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves (ground)
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Beat oil, eggs and lemon juice together.
    Add apples; set aside.
    Combine sugar, flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and cloves; mix well.
    Fold apple mixture into dry ingredients until dry ingredients are absorbed by apple mixture.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
